Mr. Hill i almost cried when i listened to this video. Thank you so much for offering this information. I suffer from several different noises all of which have different intensities and vary from time to time. One that is especially irritating is a pulsing noise (not like a heart beat) but rather like morse code. I was just getting used to my monotone noise and now this. I am 24 and had tinnitus since I was 18 and I have been in and out of depression since. Many thanks for sharing with us.
@Americanluvunit Hi, I’m sorry about what happened to you. I was prescribed Propranolol in 2006 after being diagnosed with essential tremor. Last year I developed Tinnitus from loud noise exposure and obviously don’t want to make it any worse. Is Tinnitus listed as a side efffect on the information leaflet that comes with the drug? How many mg’s were you taking a day if you don’t mind me asking?
A month ago my ear popped (closed for a few seconds) with a loud beeb when i lied in bed.Then it opened with a much lower beeb. Since then its always with me (mostly in quite places)… Do you think its Tinnitus ? I went to a doctor he told me theres was a little fluid in my ears. I got nose spay and used it for 5 days but didn’t help. Yesterday i went back to a doc he told me fluid was away and wait for a monthto turn back. What do u guys think ? I never listen to mp3 players dont gig much .

and i im still up from woring of tinitus, im going back to bed with a clear mind and body, and im just going to let goo and sleep, good night you tube !

I have tinnitus on my left ear and it sucks. I have loss of hearing on that ear too, is it usual? to have ear loss AND tinnitus at the same time? I realized of my problem when I was 12! (now I’m 27) at that time doctors concluded it was due to antibiotics that I was given when I was a kid and got very sick. Although I don’t think it has worsen and my right ear works perfectly, it’s so depressing to have that sound ALL the time + hearloss!!
Great video and information. My tinnitus came on after being put on propranolol for PTSD. I won’t go too deep, but I have faced death face to face. Was hit in the head pretty hard too. I haven’t narrowed down what did it. For about 5 months I experienced a mental hell on earth. Once the propran kicked in the anxiety cleared. But then immediately the tinnitus kicked in too. Felt like liquid filled my ear, then almost complete hearing loss + clicks. I’ll look deeper into this.

Pepto Bismol dose make it worse.
Letting go or coming out of fight or flight not only affects the perceptions and causes them to settle back to normal levels of sensitivity, but it also helps the body’s tension release. So if there is chronic tension in the jaw, working directly with this area can rebalance TMJ structural issues, and if the body is relaxed alongside, then a freer jaw is more likely to continue. Ear infections need to be dealt with carefully. However when we let go our immunity also strengthens. Best wishes J
Curious how does your theory relate to physical issues ie TMJ or ear infection or high frequency hearing loss. Will “letting go” deal with that?

@jcowanhill i had an ear(right) infection some 6 months back.My right ear rings continuously from that time it just doesnt stop what should i do sometimes its very hard to sleep in the night.Ringing in my right ear doesnt stop at all n sometimes its like even my left ear is ringing so what do u suggest me
Well this guy talks good sense. I haven’t had tinnitus for long but it was stressed induced and I know when I’m relaxed it eases off and vice-versa… I’m going to try some of these techniques….

I have tinnitus for a couple of years now. For all of you who have developed this symptom recently – Basically, it may sound unlikely, but you will become used to it so much, that you`ll stop paying attention. Your mind will learn to deal with it eventually. Trust me, there is no reason to panic
Has anyone else found that Pepto Bismol makes their tinnitus noticeably worse?
Increased resistence can lead to tinnitus worsening.
Letting go helps reduce tinnitus.
