Only the person who has tinnitus knows how horrible it is.
Mine is actually higher pitch than this sound but it is only an example I could find to show to some friend who has no tinnitus how it sounds.
I am also on Facebook (luisa tinnitus)sharing experiences with other tinnitus sufferers. It is not a solution for our problem but when we can talk with people who understand us it is a kind of relief.
thats how it sounds on my right eat and on my left its more like high pitched its horrible
@mayabrill: thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. This week my tinniuts seems to be TOO LOUD. I cannot concentrate at all. I have so many things I want to do but this really makes me tired and with depressing thoughts. May I ask you which Neurofeedback clinic would you recommend and what is the price of this treatments?

I got it two years and a half ago. just woke up with it one morning, lost part of my hearing in my left ear and have Hyperacusis. The treatment that saves my life ( i dont hear it all the time now although it’s there all the time) was Neurofeedback. Makes you change or control better the way your mind works and teaches you how to “ignore” or just let go of depressing thoughts and the sound itself. go to sleep with a white noise machine in the background cause you cant escape it at night time.
@mayabrill : Thank you for sharing with me how you feel. I have it since December 2001. In the beginning it was very low and I could only listen to it in a completely silent place but now I can hear even with the TV on
I have been reading articles from other people who has been searching for its cure.

@luisabrasil1 I have the same problem, I can hear this right before I go to sleep. Mine’s really quiet at the moment. But I don’t listen to loud music or anything like that D:
i hear this but higher pitch, i listen to red noise and it cancels it out

I hear it all the time because my tinnitus is very loud. Take care of your ears. Do not listen to loud music otherwise it will be worse. You are lucky you only hear it before you sleep.

ah man I would love this kind of tinnitus. Mine is high pitched. Louder at times.

Since 2002 I’ve been reading on the Internet about all kind of treatments but I’ve never read a testimonial – from someone who HAD tinnitus and was cure 100% after a treatment.
Here in Germany I was at specialists many times. I’ve tried my health insurance to cover the expenses of a re-training treatment but they refuse to pay.
The AOK (health insurance) mention that tinnitus is not a sickness and it does not stop someone from working….
What if one had being programmed to accept & even enjoy these “sounds” from an early age.
For millions around the world, this may indeed be music to their ears.
